"These are my observations of the hotel we stayed in in Hua Hin last week:To describe the Asara Resort & Spa in Hua Hin, Thailand as glorious would be a disservice.  There are better superlatives.  This is a property that screams good taste and understated elegance.  The staff is the epitome of excellence in service which is a reflection of the General Manager Mr.Benjaphon Angsaengtham and his exacting training program in the highest of professional hospitality standards.  Attention to decorating detail is evident with every sight line, inside or out.  The physical plan of the property lends a sense of exquisite privacy.  The landscaping is lush and carefully attended.  Waterscape is everywhere internally with a breathtaking Sea of Siam beachfront.  Guests can dine in either one of the exceptional restaurants featuring brilliant dishes from a very creative menu.  Food presentation is stunning along with the spacious dining environment causing the dining experience to be entirely stylish.  Room accommodations are ensconced in individual units each adorned with the aforementioned understated elegance.  Booking this property was a delight with the reception being totally prepared to register you and escort you to your lavish accommodation.  Employees’ demeanor is professional without being stiff and their friendliness seems genuine and sincere.  The conference facilities are striking.  The only problem I could find with this hotel was having to leave it.  The Asara is a world class winner rivaling anything found in Europe.  Management of this property is gay which accounts for its superiority."

In the four days that we have been here, we enjoyed each day up till the last moment. We chose Asara because we thought that it promises luxury, privacy and good service. Indeed, the resort delivered its promises. We were impressed by the intricate design of the entire resort, especially the thoughtfulness and attention to details. There were sweet treats to send us to bed the driver were prompt in pocking us up with the buggy, the laundry was sent much earlier than expected, the villa was well maintained, the landscape well tended…the list could go on.

We would like to extend our special thanks to the following staff who deserves special mention:
(1.) Panupong (Beach Attendant) - Very attentive, friendly and energetic. He took his initiative to help overcome language barrier when we tried to communicate with the horse rider. He was thoughtful in meeting our needs, always looking out for any point when we might need his service.
(2.) Krittawit (Top) at Kampu Restaurant - A very cheerful, enthusiastic and helpful lad. He was quick in getting to know out taste and preferences and made good recommendations. It was a pleasure to dine at the restaurant because of him.
(3.) Koi (Guest Services) - The first person to greet us when we arrived. She was warm, patient and meticulous in meeting our needs and making our stay comfortable. She took the initiative to arrange for a surprise birthday cake with three other staff and made our day! We were very touched by their thoughtfulness and sincerity. Something we didn’t expect because we didn’t tell anyone that we were have to celebrate a birthday.

Please extend our sincere gratitude to these three outstanding individuals with the token of appreciation enclosed.

Thank you very much.

"It was such a pleasure to be at Asara. We will be back. I will show your beautiful place to many. We had a nice flight back. But we miss Asara and the sun."

“It’s good to hear that you were still talking about us….;-). We still miss you and your employees and of course the good weather! When we arrived in Hamburg it snowed (so at least the environment looked nice) – now it is raining only and everything is grey and sad outside. We would love to go back to your place… Whenever we meet friends we tell them how overwhelming your hospitality was and that it is such a nice hotel which is worth staying at!!!”

My husband and i were looking for a place to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. We have been to Hua Hin many times and enjoy every minute there. In the recent years, we have seen many hotels, resorts, boutique hotels pop up like mushroom, however, not all of them are impressive and meet our standard. We heard about Asara from a close friend who recently spent an holiday with her family and said the hotel was great. We've also been to so many hi-end luxury hotels around the world in addition to those in hua hin that we have already visited, so we thought it'd be a good experience. We went to see the hotel in the website and it felt just right. Outstanding hospitality since we step out of our car and went to check in. The room was neat and sleek with high privacy. Not to crowded like other hotels. We enjoyed our 2nd wedding anniversary a lot and will definitely recommend this hotel to others that we know. Please keep up with the good service. Thank you.

We arrived at Asara Villa&Suite in the early evening after sunset and from the first moment were overwhelmed by the beautifully elegant atmosphere of this modern Thai-style resort. The whole resort is very generously designed and offers all that is needed for a relaxing stay: Big, spacious rooms with huge bathrooms (including inside and outside showers), natural surroudings with tropical gardens and lagoons, very large infinity pool landscape just next to the beach. Additionally here are all facilites you would expect from a 5 star hotel like spa, restaurants, library, fitness room, shop, meeting room. The staff is very friendly and really gives its best to take care of the customers. Some of the staff still could improve their English (I learn from hotel management that this is currently being addressed). Asara was officially fully opend only in May 2008 and is located quite close to the small airport (very litte airtraffic with only small planes). Refreshingly, Asara does not below to an international chain but to a Thai Lady from Bangkok who also owns real estate in Pattaya. We truely enjoyed our 5-day stay at Asara and were indeed very sad to leave.  Asara truely lives up to its slogan "Surround yourself in pleasure". We will be back
